Instructions
- Wash the Blueberries: Rinse the fresh blueberries under cold water in a colander and gently shake to remove excess water.
- Prepare the Banana: Peel and slice the banana into smaller pieces for easier blending.
- Measure the Spinach: Rinse fresh spinach under cold water or measure out one cup of frozen spinach.
- Gather Remaining Ingredients: Have chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, coconut water or almond milk, and lemon juice ready.
- Add Ingredients to the Blender: In a high-speed blender, add blueberries, banana, spinach, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup (if using), coconut water or almond milk, and lemon juice. Add liquid ingredients first.
- Blend Until Smooth: Secure the lid and blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high for 30-60 seconds until smooth. Add more coconut water or almond milk if too thick.
- Taste and Adjust: Taste the juice and add more honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend again briefly to mix.
- Prepare Your Glasses: If desired, fill serving glasses with ice cubes for a chilled drink.
- Pour the Juice: Carefully pour the blended juice into prepared glasses using a ladle to avoid spills.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish with whole blueberries or a slice of banana on the rim of the glass for a decorative touch.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy the juice fresh for the best flavor and nutrition.
- Store Leftovers (If Any): Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir before drinking.
