Ingredients

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas

2 carrots, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced

¼ cup beef broth or water

1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Instructions

In a bowl, toss sliced beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper. Let it marinate while prepping veggies.

In a small bowl, whisk together oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, beef broth, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Sear beef for about 2 minutes until just browned. Remove and set aside.

Add another tablespoon of oil. Stir fry garlic, ginger, and vegetables for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.

Return beef to the pan. Pour in the sauce. Stir and toss everything together until coated and heated through.
